The mission of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) is to provide an opportunity for students to begin their professional careers by joining a professional engineering society andto inform students of recent developments in the field of mechanical engineering through publications, field trips and meetings; to promote fellowship.

ASME at WSU meets on the first Thursday of the month for lunch and an engineering presentation.

Meetings are at 12:00 noon in Sloan 175.
